Our Company

MISSION
The Pacific Flying School provides students with training that meets the highest standards required by the Civil Aviation Authority.
COMPANY HISTORY
The Pacific Flying School is located at Nadi International Airport in the Fiji Islands. It was established in 1985 by Chairman Don Collingwood and since that time he has created an organization that concentrates on producing “high quality” Commercial Pilots and Aviators.
The Pacific Flying School was originally set up to supply Fiji and the Pacific Region with quality pilots. It is the intention of the Pacific Flying School to provide students with training that meets the highest standards required by the regulatory authority. We believe that our Central Pacific location is ideal as a regional training institution, and have structured our courses to meet the needs of the Pacific Island States. We train Commercial Pilots not just to pass a flight test, but to become Professional Pilots with the highest standards and capabilities. In this respect, you can find Pacific Flying School graduates employed by International airlines all over the World.
The fact that our training base is situated on an International Airport lends the Pacific Flying School many great advantages. There are navigational aids at our doorsteps, which is ideal for Instrument Ratings. This location also allows students to become familiar with operations within a busy International Airport environment.
FLEET
The Pacific Flying School owns and operates a fleet of aircraft that includes:
- 4 x Cessna 172 - 2x 172R, 2x 172 M
- Piper Seneca - Multi Engine
- BN2B Islander - Multi-Engine
These aircraft are ideal for Visual and Instrument training.
Pacific Flying School has an ongoing plan that involves the acquisition of additional aircraft as required to cater to student demand .In addition , the School provides 2 Synthetic Trainers ( or Flight Simulators ) which are hosted in our Training Centre at Nadi International Airport .
