WHY STUDY IN THE FIJI ISLANDS

The Fiji Islands is located in the South Pacific. Fiji consists of 330 Islands hosting a population close to one million people. With a temperate climate and World class resorts is a popular destination from visitors from all over the world. In fact Tourism is Fijis’ main industry and a vibrant aviation sector supports more than 500,000 visitors per annum.

The Fiji Islands is host to Nadi International Airport which is the largest facility in the region. This facility is the gateway to the South Pacific from markets such as South East Asia, Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Nadi International Airport is home to the Pacific Flying School and our students enjoy full access to World class facilities and Civil Aviation Authority certified training.

The Pacific Flying School (PFS) was originally established to supply Fiji and the South Pacific Region with Commercial pilots. We now offer students from all over the World access to a broad range of training options. It is the intention of the Pacific Flying School to provide all students with qualifications that meets the highest standards required by the Aviation Industry. We believe that our Central Pacific location is ideal as a specialised training institution, and PFS is structured to meet the needs of students from within the Asia Pacific region.

With English as the main business language, the Fiji Islands hosts a well developed Aviation market including 2 International Airports and more than 20 domestic airports. These are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji.

Commercial Pilots Licenses issued in the Fiji Islands are recognized World Wide and are regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Fiji Islands using criteria established by the C.A.A.

Training and living expenses in the Fiji Islands are very reasonable by World standards. This ensures that International Students choosing to complete their training in Fiji can do so inexpensively. The average cost of completing a Commercial Pilot Licence in the Fiji Islands is F$60,000.
